My team and I offer desirable property solutions for people that need to sell or buy a house no matter what your situation or time frame is. I also make loans based on your home equity and not your credit score. I have the resources to make this a win win situation, and you are never under any obligation and will never be pressured when contacting us.

My Journey

I was a part owner in an electrical contracting firm in the late 1990’s and started to get interested in real estate around 2001. My business partners and I bought our first rental property in 2002. From there we did several real estate transactions until we decided to close the electrical business and part ways. In 2009 I started Gary Buys Houses which is owned by my wife Eileen, and I. I felt like I could offer one on one personal service to people that wanted to sell their house quickly or not worry about repairs and such.

Today, buy houses, list houses and make loans based on your equity and not credit. I have built a reputation of being fair and honest with people no matter their situation, so the business continues to help people and be successful. For fun, I like to travel and spend time in Southern Utah & Nevada exploring.

I offer full service real estate services with multiple choices when you need to sell a house or borrow money.  I purchase houses and list houses on the MLS for sellers.  I operate as Gary Buys Houses for clients that want a quick sale no matter the condition of the house, and I list properties under the brokerage Fathom Realty for those that want a traditional sale. This gives me the ability to offer many choices when selling your house.

What Choices do I have When Selling My House?

My focus here is on sellers that may have situations that are a little bit out of the ordinary. This would include houses you need to sell now and move later, an inherited house, foreclosure and foreclosure sale date issues, too many repairs, late property taxes, rental properties, vacant houses, houses contaminated with meth, a hoarder house, or are you getting divorced?  Or do you have a very nice home that needs to get sold?

Another choice to make is how long do you want to wait to get the proceeds from the sale of the house.  People can get their proceeds in a few days or in a month or two.  Typically, the longer you, the seller, are willing to wait to get your money, the more your proceeds will be.  And yes, this applies to nice well kept houses to houses that are in some sort of distress we listed above.  People can get their proceeds right away by selling their house quickly to me or any number of other buyers we work with. Listing your house takes longer but will typically increase your proceeds.
